Joining

Become a member of the NSW Sport Aircraft Club of Wedderburn - Napper Field and enjoy the unique experience of belonging to a club dedicated to the private ownership of aircraft and to the comradeship of the aviation community. The Club was founded to provide an inexpensive venue for members to fly, house their aircraft, and socialise with aviation minded people, and it continues to adhere to those principles today.

Membership Types Available

FULL MEMBER - For pilot licence or certificate holders whose prime interest in joining the club is aviation related. Apart from enjoying the benefits of getting to socialise with other like-minded aviators, Full Membership entitles you to:

  • Full voting rights

  • Keeping an aircraft at Wedderburn - Napper field

  • Leasing a hangar site from the Club (note: there is no guarantee that a hangar site will be available at any given time)

  • Accessing the club facilities

  • Participating in club events

  • Receiving the club Newsletter

SOCIAL MEMBER - A person having purely social involvement with the club. Apart from enjoying the benefits of getting to socialise with other like-minded enthusiasts, Social Membership entitles you to:

  • Accessing the club facilities

  • Participating in club events

  • Receiving the club Newsletter

 

Notes:

  • If you own an aircraft you plan to keep at Wedderburn - Napper, or you intend to obtain a hangar lease, you must apply for Full Membership.

  • All new members are subject to an interview and a six month probationary period. Your name, suburb and photo will be published to Club members for comment.

To apply for membership please read the Club Constitution and By-laws, then complete a Membership Application Form, and mail to:
